Introducing the Opportunity Score | Yoga Teacher Revolution

Right now, every teacher looks the same in search results. That makes it hard for employers to know who’s truly active, and it risks opportunities being lost to silence.
The Opportunity Score, launching October 1, changes that. It highlights teachers who are engaged and present, so employers can trust the connections they make and, as trust grows, so do opportunities for the whole teacher community.
How It works
The Opportunity Score is a 10-point system. Each signal, like valid insurance, a recent review, or marking yourself available for cover, shows employers you’re active and dependable. The more signals you have, the more confidence others have in reaching out.
The higher your score is, the more visible you and your content becomes, giving you more chances to be seen and chosen for opportunities.

- For employers: Faster, higher-quality matches that build trust in our whole network.
- For the community: As trust builds, more employers rely on Yoga Pros to find teachers. Bringing more opportunities for everyone.
The Opportunity Score
Staying active shows others you’re present and engaged. It gives teachers confidence to reach out, knowing you’ll be there to respond.
1. Valid Insurance
Up-to-date insurance makes you reliable and ready reassuring studios, peers, and students. This displays on your profile page and in search results.
2. CPD Completed in the Last 3 Months
Investing in your learning shows you’re committed to growth. Teachers who keep their skills fresh are more likely to be invited into opportunities. Teachers who follow you also get notified.
3. Growth Journey Completed in the Last 3 Months
Completing tasks in your Growth Journeys, this tells other teachers looking to partner that you are actively growing your career in yoga. This shows in your score and any teacher that follows you.
4. Specialty Unlocked
Unlocking a specialty helps you stand out and highlights your expertise to be matched to opportunities needing your skills.
5. One Active Event
Having active events shows you’re able to create opportunities and are active in the community.
6. Brand Profile Unlocked & Set Up
A brand profile signals that you’re building your presence and more likely looking to partner and even promote courses.
7. Open to Partnerships
Showing you’re open to partnerships makes it clear you’re ready to work with others. It encourages teachers and studios to reach out with joint opportunities. This shows on your LiveCV page.
8. Available to Cover
Marking yourself as available to cover tells teachers they can rely on you when they need a teacher to cover for them. This also displays in your LiveCV page.
9. Received a Review in the Last 3 Months
Reviews show other teachers insights to what it is like inside your class. The better reviews you have, the better the trust will be built that you can deliver a good experience.
