Yoga Alliance Professionals partners with Ekotex Yoga

Yoga Alliance Professionals has partnered with eco-friendly yoga brand Ekotex Yoga to offers its members exclusive discounts on yoga mats and props, while promoting sustainability within the yoga community.

Based just 10 minutes apart in Edinburgh, Yoga Alliance Professionals is teaming up with the eco-conscious brand, which recently won The Good Shopping Ethical Company Award, to offer exclusive discounts to over 7,500 teachers. 

Registered yoga teachers will receive up to 45% off the ethically made yoga mats and props with no minimum spend, a truly rare deal in the yoga world. What’s more, members will also be given the chance to sign up as Ekotex Yoga affiliates: gaining 10% commission with every purchase made through a personalised discount code. 

The scheme seeks to support the yoga community after a particularly challenging 18 months for the industry. Now, as increased awareness for hygiene procedures leads more yoga practitioners to purchase their own yoga mats and props, Yoga Alliance Professionals members can gain rewards from referring their students to buy eco-friendly equipment. 

Abbie Sweet, the founder of Ekotex Yoga, was previously a staff member of Yoga Alliance Professionals before forming the eco-friendly brand. Abbie has said “I began working with the Yoga Alliance Professionals team in 2013 and left to form Ekotex Yoga in 2017. Our warehouse and office are less than a mile from each other, so we are neighbours too! Ekotex Yoga would not be here today without the experience I gained from Bruce and the team.
