Revitalise Your Teaching: A Weekly Wellness Reset for Yoga Teachers
by Louise Wallace on Apr 15, 2025 4:11:56 PM
You love teaching. You’re passionate about yoga.
But let’s be honest, this work can get overwhelming.
Between planning classes, running your business, showing up for students, and somehow keeping your practice alive… It’s easy to feel like you’re spinning plates alone.
And where do you go when you hit a wall, whether it’s figuring out your next offer, managing burnout, or just needing to talk it through?
At YAP, we’ve heard the same story from hundreds of teachers:
“I just want a positive space to get support from other teachers who get it.”
So we built one.
What Is Tear & Share?
Tear & Share is a free, weekly Zoom session where yoga teachers come together to get (and give) support. It’s equal parts wellness check-in, peer accountability, and a supportive space to think out loud.
The format is simple:
- Bring whatever you’re working on - business, teaching, planning, or a problem you are trying to work through.
- Share what’s feeling sticky, overwhelming, or uncertain.
- Get encouragement, real-world insight, and ideas from your peers.
- Or just listen and take in the collective wisdom.
A coach or trainer doesn’t lead these sessions - they’re led by you, shaped by the conversations that naturally unfold. We just hold the space and offer structure.
Why This Matters: The Growth Path in Action
At YAP, everything we do is guided by our Growth Path. Supporting teachers as they move from passion to profession through three core pillars:
- Teaching Skills – continuously developing your craft
- Business Mastery – building a sustainable, scalable teaching career
- Wellness – protecting your energy so you can keep going without burning out
There’s no right way to show up.
✔️ You don’t need a plan.
✔️ You don’t need to impress anyone.
✔️ You just need to turn up as you are
Whether you say a lot or just soak it in, you’ll walk away with something valuable: clarity, insight, a small step forward, or even a new connection.
Your Weekly Wellness Check-In Starts Here
This is part of your professional well-being.
It’s a tool to keep you aligned with your goals.
It’s part of your growth path.
And it’s free.
Come with a challenge, a question, or just yourself.
Leave with motivation, connection, and next steps.
We have invited our existing yoga teachers to the first session in April 2025. If you recently joined, you may not have received the invite. You can email us/live chat directly, or we’ll email you in time for the next session.
